We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the World War II Operations Reports, 1940-1948 in the Records of the Adjutant General's Office, 1917 - 1985 (Record Group 407) that includes records of the 2nd, 4th and 6th Armored Divisions during WWII. We also located a series titled Unit Histories, 1943 - 1967 in the Records of U.S. Army Operational, Tactical, and Support Organizations (World War II and Thereafter) ( Record Group 338) that includes 95 files of the 2nd Armored Division, 118 files of the 4th Armored Division, and 54 files of the 6th Armored Division, from the 1940s. We also located the History of Operation COBRA, 1944 - 1945; the V Corps History , 1942 - 1945; the After Action Reports, 7/1944 - 9/1944; and After Action Reports, 1944 - 1945 by the Historical Division in the Records of Headquarters, European Theater of Operations, United States Army (World War II) (Record Group 498) that provide an overview of the operation.
