Word break between pages but end of word not on next page

I need some clarification of how to transcribe/review a partial word at end of page when the next page does not exist.

      I was reviewing:

      https://crowd.loc.gov/campaigns/organizing-for-womens-suffrage-the-nawsa-records/subject-file-a-d/mss3413201338/mss34132…

The page ends at “dis-“ but the next page in that file does not continue the article.

I found a PDF on Ms. Tarbell’s article on another web site. The word is “discredited”. I transcribed it that way but should I have put [*credited*] or used [?] ? Multiple ways of handling this occurred to me so I thought I better ask the experts.

      Thank you.
