Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to guidance received from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), NARA has adjusted its normal operations to balance the need of completing its mission-critical work while also adhering to the recommended social distancing for the safety of NARA staff. As a result of this re-prioritization of activities, you may experience a delay in receiving an initial acknowledgement as well as a substantive response to your reference request from RDT1. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.
You may wish to search Ancestry or FamilySearch for the U.S. Census. There may be a fee for using Ancestry. Instead, please check for access at your local library as many library systems subscribe to these sites, making them free for their patrons.
Birth, marriage, and death records from Ohio for the time periods you seek are located at the Archives & Library of the Ohio History Connection. For genealogy research resources, we suggest that you review the National Archives web pages titled Resources for Genealogists and Census Records plus search the FamilySearch wiki for Ohio.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!
Ollie Schaurer was born in Centre, Union Township, Miami Co, Ohio. Her parents were Jacob B. Schauer and Frances Clark.
Jacob B Schauer & Frances E. Clark married in Montgomery Co, OH 12 Jan 1890. Because Frances was only 17 years old a relative, Peter Clark, (I assume her father) had to sign permission.
Jacob's parents were Jacob Schaurer and Henrietta Lightner, who were born in Germany. In 1880 they lived in Union Twp, Miami Co, OH
