Seeking images and military records of Robert White

    Gerald Huesken Newbie

Greetings, I’m looking to see if anyone has images, resources, etc. on Robert Willie White, a resident of Billmeyer, Pennsylvania who enlisted in the US Air Force in the 1950s, served overseas in Japan, and went on to become a professional guitarist. He worked for Motown Records and played on some of their most iconic recordings. I live not far from the old Billmeyer quarry town and have been trying to piece together White’s early life. Any help anyone might be able to offer would be appreciated. I’m interested in finding information and resources on his life from 1955-56 when he was in the Air Force until 1960 when he shows up in Detroit and starts working at Motown. Thanks again
