Seeking deck logs of USS America (CV-66)

    Charles Felix Newbie

I am looking for deck logs for the USS America (CV-66) from March 31, 1981 to November, 1981. I am seeking information on a fire onboard the USS America CV-66, It was called away as a fire in Aft IC, shortly after the ship went to general quarters. I am suffering PTSD from this event and I'm looking for the information for and appeal to the VA. I don't recall the exact date but it happened during this cruise to the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean.
