We have searched the National Archives Catalog and located Country Subject Files, 1946 - 1951 in the Records of the U.S. High Commissioner for Germany (Record Group 466) that consists of correspondence, reports and lists in the country subject files of the Extradition Board. The countries covered include Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Rumania, Russia, Turkey and Yugoslavia.
We also located the series Registers of War Crimes Extraditions, 1945 - 1951 in Record Group 466 that consists of registers for war crimes extradition cases by providing the log number, the name of the individual, case number, date of request, clearances received, and remarks.
In addition, we located the series Records Relating To Extradition, 1947 - 12/1952 in the Records of the United States Army, Europe (Record Group 549) that contains correspondence and memorandums relating to the extradition of alleged war criminals to and from American authority.
