We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 12 series in the Records of the U.S. Coast Guard (Record Groups 26); 12 series in the Records of the U.S. Customs Service (Record Group 36); Letters and Reports to the Congress, 1806 - 1839 in the General Records of the Department of the Treasury (Record Group 56); and the General Register of Bonds and Contracts, 2/28/1798 - 12/18/1887 in the Records of the Accounting Officers of the Department of the Treasury (Record Group 217) that relate to the Revenue Cutter Service.
