    Seeking logs of CQ (Charge of Quarters) for unit

      At the end of business, on every base, at every unit there is a CQ (Charge of Quarters) assigned the the entrance of the unit or barracks that oversees and records events throughout the night.  He records these events in a log. My question is...how can I locate logs of a particular unit at a particular time?

          Under Records Control Schedule NN-166-204, logs prepared by the duty officer of the day or by personnel on “charge of quarters” duty are destroyed after 6 months.  If it has been less than six months since these events you are researching, please contact the unit in question.
