Re: Seeking copies of RAF Chicksands Base newspaper, The Antenna

Dear Ms. Smith,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
Under Air Force record schedules, newspapers, newsletters, and other base and unit publications are temporary records and as such are not transferred to the National Archives. On inactivation of the publishing organization, Air Force newspapers and news periodicals may be presented to a local library, college or other public activity on request. We suggest that you contact libraries in the area of the former base. Also, if there is a successor organization to the organization that published the newspaper, they may have retained copies of the newspaper.
Some editions of some air force base newspapers can be found in the collections maintained by the Wisconsin Historical Society in cooperation with the University of Wisconsin. You also may wish to contact the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and the Royal Air Force Museum.
We hope this is helpful.
