Seeking digitized records of OWI Bureau of Motion Pictures

We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 9 series of the OWI Bureau of Motion Pictures in the Records of the Office of War Information (Record Group 208). Please chick on the link to see what series are available. Once you located a series or file unit of interest, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT1) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.

To see all the digitized records for the Office of War Information, please begin with NARA’s Record Group Explorer page  for the Records of the Office of War Information (Record Group 208) and then click on various categories of records.  To see a list of all record series in this record group, to include those not yet digitized, click on the blue “Explore” button under the heading “Our work isn't finished yet. NARA has more digitizing to do.”  You also can search the National Archives Catalog by going through the Advanced Search menu that allows you to filter by specific record groups, record types, date ranges, etc.

We also searched online and located a number of videos by or about the Office of War Information.
