We searched the Records of the U.S. Information Agency (Record Group 306) and the General Records of the Department of State (Record Group 59) and located the following series that may have information about American library programs in Europe, including Prague.- Country, Programs, and Operations Files, 1945 - 1958

- Subject Files, 1945 - 1952
- Records Relating to Culture Centers, 1955 - 1998
- Records Relating to Libraries and Librarianship, 1955 - 1998
- Subject Files, 1955 - 1999
- Transcripts of Oral History Project Interviews, 1988 - 1996
- Histories, 1969 - 1999
- Country Files for Czechoslovakia, 1959 - 1969
- Records Relating to the Advisory Commission on Information, 1955 - 5/1977
These records are in the custody of the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2), which can be contacted via email at Archives2reference@nara.gov. The RDT2 staff will be pleased to make the finding aids to these records available to you or your representative in the Textual Research Room located 8601 Adelphi Road, College Park, MD, near the University of Maryland--College Park campus. The Textual Research Room (Room 2000) hours are 8:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays.
