Seeking Grandfather's Unit History in World War I

Hello!  My Grandfather fought in WWI here is a synopsis of his personal data I have researched:

      • Rutherford, Plummer, (Service number) 1,307,323 W, from La Follette, Tenn
      • Enlistedl; NG (National Guard) Lafollette ,Tenn June 30/1918
      • Born; Union Co. Tenn
      • Age; 21 3/12 years.
      • Org; Co C 3 Inf Tenn NG (Co C 117 Inf Division) to discharge
      • Grade: PVT
      • Engagements: Zellebake Lake Ypres, Bellicourt Hindenberg Line
      • Wounded in action; Slightly Sep 29 /1918
      • Location/Overseas dates: France May 11/1918 to Mar 28/1919
      • Hon Discharge; Apr-13 /1919

What I'm trying to find now is any documents related to the 117th Infantry Regiment's Combat actions throughout 1918. Knowing they were assigned to the 30th Division I have found the following information:

Records Group 120,  Records of Divisions (P 1241) -- Records of the 30th Division

      Containers at College Park Location:

      • Box 14: [30th Division] Historical Decimal File - 60th Infantry Brigade 32.6 THRU 117th Infantry 56.3
      • Box 15: [30th Division] Historical Decimal File - 117th Infantry 56.2 THRU 119th Infantry 32.15

Are there any specific indexes related to what holdings are in these containers? If I go in person what do I need to ask the folks there in order to help them locate the records I'm looking for? Thanks in advance for any help/advice in this matter
