We searched our holdings here at the National Archives at College Park, MD, Archives II Textual Reference Branch, but weren't able to locate any records for the unit for the time period you seek. We have very few Air Force unit records for the post-World War II period. We would suggest contacting the Air Force Historical Research Agency (http://www.afhra.af.mil/).

Regardless, Major Monde was CO of that outfit for a spell, wrote a thesis that was published, a history of the air field, but I think it focused more on the WASP era during WWII. Might be worth a look, could try to request it through your library. At least it might point to some sources or collections he used.
