Dear Mr. Duda,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
The military records in NARA’s custody do not include the record of assignment and operational activity of individual pieces of equipment such as weapons and uniforms for the 1st North Carolina Cavalry or 9th Regiment North Carolina State Troops. Such documentation would be destroyed after initial administrative use under normal War Department records management procedures.
We hope this is helpful.

It would help if you specify which war you are researching. If by chance you are referring to the Confederate units by that name during the American Civil War, there may be relevant records in the War Department Collection of Confederate Records (Record Group 109). These records are at The National Archives in Washington, DC. You should also contact the State Archives of North Carolina and the State Library of North Carolina.
There may be useful information in Histories of the several regiments and battalions from North Carolina, in the great war 1861-'65, published in 1905. I would also suggest searching for publications and other sources that address logistics for the Army of Northern Virginia as a whole.
I found a reenactor website that includes an article on weapons and uniforms of the 1st North Carolina Cavalry. Some of the sources are mentioned in the article, and if you contact the organization they might be able to provide you more information.
