Records relating to the sale of land and ownership of land are typically kept at county institutions.  We suggest that you contact the Count of Santa Barbra Clerk-Recorder for assistance with determining if and where the relevant records are held. You can always find out who lived at that address on the U.S. Census.  I see at https://stevemorse.org/census/unified.html we provided a search tool for Lompos 1950 Census.  If you entered the street names on the block on that utility, it should lead to a specific enumeration district that you can then be led to the beginning images of that ED and then look through the images to find out who resided there.  Another strategy..... have you asked a reference librarian of the area for archived copies of old newspapers?  Or the historical society of the area?
