I am an American citizen. I am interested in becoming a dual citizen of Italy using the jure sangquinis process (direct lineage). To do this I need to verify if my grandfather, Armando Pacini, retained his Italian citizenship upon becoming an American citizen - or not.
My Grandfather, Armando Pacini, was born in Pistoia, Toscana, Italy on abt 1890 to Michelangelo "Angelo" Pacini and Affortunata Biagini. Armando arrived in the US in 1906. Armando Pacini married Alma Schmitz and had 11 children – my mother Ruth Helen (Pacini) Jung – is the second youngest of their children. Armando Pacini passed away on 1 Apr 1981 in St Louis, St Louis, Missouri, United States.
