Thank you for finding this information. John Kelly is my great great grandfather. Robert Kelly is my great grandfather. From my research I learned that Margaret Hobson was John Kelly's first wife. She died in 1851. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1852. He married Ann Hobson, his sister in law, in 1853 in New York City. I thought she may have come over with him and the children in 1852.

According to my information, John Kelly's first wife was Margaret Hobson. She died in 1851. He emigrated to the U.S with his children in 1852. He married Ann Hobson, his sister in law, in 1853 in New York City. I thought she might have made the voyage with him in 1852.
