Im trying to find citizenship documentation on my Grandfather. He immigrated from Italy on the ship Venezia out of Naples on or about 3/21/1913. He was born in Foggia Italy 8/7/1888. He , was a carpenter by trade and his passenger ID was 100580150232 718 0022. He came to Albion NY to begin his American life. It is believed he renounced his Italian citizenship because he had to renounce B. Mussolini to enter US or become Citizen, It's unclear why exactly. He traveled with his wife, Elda Raffi Acri, born in Pesaro Italy, We think that Elda did not renounce her Italian citizenship and therefore, it is her record of her Italian citizenship that I am in most need.
