Greetings,
I would like to please request the records for William McMonigle's Immigration and Naturalization Records. There are several that fit but are hard to pin down.
He was born in Donegal, Ireland, about 1830. He gets married and enlists in the Civil War in New Jersey, but lives in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
I can only assume he may have come in through Philadelphia and gone to New Jersey. He marries Mary Ann Maxwell from Ireland, too.
He may have come in with parents or alone and knew someone in New Jersey. There is a census in 1860, but the wife is Margrate.
So just as a point of reference, I'm including his enlistment information.
