  • In the 1900 census his status is “NA” - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-D1G7-YG2?i=17 (#93)
The 1920 census tells us that he naturalized about 1892. This means that son Antonino would have automatically naturalized when his father did:https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9RNR-FSQ?i=4

From the 1900 census the family is found in Dayton OH, but before this they resided in Buffalo, Erie NY:
In Jul 1892 son Cos(i)mo is born in Buffalo, Erie, NY. In 1899 wife Lucia and 2 children are on a passenger list and their residence is still in Buffalo, NY: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-C9T4-B342-8?i=120 (#7).

Do you know where they were living between 1887 and 1892?

I haven’t found them between the available Erie naturalization doco. There is some stuff for Buffalo but you’ll need to visit an FHC to view these films: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/17053?availability=Family%20History%20Library
    On https://www4.erie.gov/clerk/genealogy : “
The County of Erie has naturalization records covering from 1827 to 1929. for the Supreme, Superior and County Courts”.

Maybe some one else has more luck …

BTW I’m not too sure who
    Maria Silvestri is yet…???
