Trying to find my father and born in approximately 1930s Air Force records enlisted when he was 17 years old dishonorably discharge Abraham, Bernard Rothman from New York

he raised us under an alias me and my four siblings are Bernard Arthur, Bernard Riley. After he deceased in 1997. I managed to get his friend to tell me his real name growing up, which was Abraham Bernard Rothman. he managed to live that alias his whole life, and we never got to learn anything about his family. Other than he mentioned there from New York. He mentioned in listening when he was 17 and then realizing he made a mistake, he claimed his superior officer made a homosexual pass at him, and they dishonorably discharged him potentially had a sister named Ruth. His parents were much older when they had him according to him wealthy and didn't have much to do with him

  • Here's another possibility: Abe Rotman. Note that he's living in Michigan in 1950, but was born in New York. Plus, he has a sister Ruth:

A member at Ancestry.com has added a comment that Abe Rotman should be Abraham Rothman for this yearbook photo:

His mother Lena Weisberg Rotman/Rothman Weissman died in 1950. Her second husband Milo Weissman remarried in 1951. I could find no obituary for Lena Weissman. (I found it interesting that her birth month/day was January 15 as well. Coincidence or not?)

Lena's first husband was Aaron Rotman. They were married in 1927.

Rotman was the original surname, but Aaron and other family members changed it to Rothman later.
