Looking for information on Grace Fields in Oklahoma.

I found an obituary for Mrs. Grace Field, wife of Bertie Fields, who died in Oklahoma March 14, 1937. Her age was listed in that as 28.

Did Bertie and Grace have two daughters, Octavia and Ann? If so, their Social Security Applications list their mother's maiden name as Grace Hatfield. You can see their information at FamilySearch.org here: www.familysearch.org/.../results

Your grandmother may have been married previously before marrying Bertie C Fields.

Her grave has her birthdate as January 25, 1910.

Your grandmother may be the baby Grace Hatfield who is listed in the 1910 US Census as the daughter of Weldon and Barbara Hatfield, living in Oklahoma City.

Barbara Hatfield later married Henry Rusche, as seen in the 1920 US Census.

The 1930 US Census has a Gracie Barry as Henry Rusche's step-daughter. "Barry" may be a garbling of "Barrett." If this is your grandmother then I think she was separated from Elmer Barrett around this time.

All of this needs to be further documented in order to prove this is your grandmother, but it certainly should be considered.
