I have some ancestors listed in this area back in 1870s. I can’t find the location today.

Thank you. But I wonder where there homes in 1870? The website stated there were businesses in 1830- 1839 in that area. Where you able to find anything after 1830-1839 in that area?
Hello LaKeisha,
Thank you for posting your question on History Hub!
We suggest reviewing the Mississippi State Census Returns, 1818-1880. This record series was enacted and conducted by the state to enumerate inhabitants. The complete index for the Claiborne County census can be found here.
We hope this information has been helpful!
The link that Mr. Weintraub provided has that Brandywine was "about twenty miles southeast of Port Gibson." That should provide an overall idea of where it was.
Here's a resource you can try:
The Mississippi Department of Archives and History has a listing of old Claiborne County maps (with links to them): https://da.mdah.ms.gov/mapindex/index.php?localaction=browse&keyword=claiborne%20county&order=desc&sort=situationdate
