Searching for my great grandfather Captain Frederick Johnson

Hello, 
 I'm from Philippines in search of my great grandfather Captain Frederick Johnson the details I knew of him were: 
 He was from Copenhagen Denmark and was Naturalized in the US, was connected in the US Army and deployed in the Philippines 
 specifically in the Province of Agusan was then appointed as the First Governor in the Province by the Dean C. Worcester the Secretary of Interior of the Philippine Islands 
 from 1901-1913. I would like to request documents related to him like Birth Certificate, Death Certificate, Military Service Records and Naturalization 
 Thank you for the help as my search of him comes to a dead end.

 We could be relative, as I am a direct descendant of Captain Frederick Johnson here in Agusan Philippines, as his daughter's Josephine Johnson is my grandmother. sadly she passed away before I was born.

Frederick Johnson died of wounds. He died on September 13, 1913 in Denmark. I am searching for records of the same person. And hopefully be administered with DNA test to find the family he left in the Philippines

 Thank you for this information. 
 This is the same book that I read and were I got some information with. 
 my search of him is not for genealogical propose only. 
 I needed proof of his existence and to have closure on his side. 
 and that the stories about my great grandfather are not merely fairy tail . 
 the search continues until his existence his proven. 
 I strongly believe that the name mentioned on the article is no other that my great grandfather 
 Frederic Johnson., as there is no other Frederick Johnson that were assigned in Agusan but him.

 To research his military service, we would recommend that you request his Official Military Personnel File (OMPF). OMPFs for Army enlisted personnel who were separated from the service after November 1, 1912 (July 1, 1917 for officers) are serviced by NARA's National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) in St. Louis. In many cases where personnel records were destroyed in the 1973 fire , proof of service can be provided from other records such as morning reports, payrolls, and military orders. 
 You'll want to complete a GSA Standard Form 180 and mail it to NARA's National Personnel Records Center, (Military Personnel Records), 1 Archives Drive, St. Louis, MO 63138-1002. If there is any information requested by the form that you do not know, you may omit it or provide estimates (such as for dates), but the more information you provide, the easier it will be to locate the correct file.
