The sister of my grandfather together with her husband and childeren. Arrived 1917/1918 from dutch east indie in San francisco by boat i think. They departed from New York to Amsterdam by boat. I would like to see if there is information about their arrival and departure. I also would like to know which route they would have taken by train to New York. In an article in a dutch newspaper in 1918 their is mentioned that dutch people were interrogated because they al could speak German. Where do i look for more information.
