I never found that he had a middle name.  Born in 1741 Bertie co formed 1722 from, Chowan, North Carolina, United States.  Died:  3 Jan 1826 Louisburg, Franklin, North Carolina, USA,  Married to Sarah Ann Strother 25 February 1770 Edgecombe Co. NC, North Carolina, USA.  Thanks
