Where can I find old midwife birth records? Or tribal birth records?

Question

Looking for birth records on my paternal grandfather. I've taken a DNA test and it matches me to a 3rd and 4th grandfather. The problem I've ran into is I can't connect him to a father or mother even with this information. 
 Bert Roy, Oklahoma, DOB: 10.18.1891 Every record that I have found on him does not i nclude parents. This including the military records it says parents unknown death certificate parents unknown. I knew all of his children and he is my mother s father.

 You may be able to search locally to where you believe he was born for any birth records not held by the state. This might be courthouses, local history societies, or college and universities. 
 Clearly you have located records for him, and it appears he may well not have known his parents. Have you searched the 1900 census in the area you think he lived for potential unexpected spellings, or possibly for candidates if he changed his name? 
 If he was a member of a tribe, you will want to be sure you have covered all possible resources, as some will include information about other family members.
