Any help in pointing me in the right direction to find information about my Great x4 grandfather John Brook. I know more history in succeeding generations, which might be helpful.
I know John’s parents are Isaac Brook and Mary Westacot. Isaac was born 1711 Winkleigh, Devonshire, England. John was born sometime in 1745 and not sure when he passed away. He married Mary Anne Combe, who was from Devon, England. They had only one son William Brook. He was born approximately 1766 and was christened Jan 14, 1767 at Breedon On The Hill, Leicester, England. He passed away November 24, 1840 and was buried at Breedon on the Hill, North West Leicestershire District, Leicestershire, England.
