death certificate for charles L boyd

It would be helpful if you provide some more information - what time period -  1700's? 1800's? 1900's?  - any approximate dates would help.  Where was he born or where did he live? Access to birth & death records varies greatly by time period & state.  Any known family relations - parents? spouse?  There are a lot of Charles L. Boyd's

Regarding his Birth Certificate, you will need to request this from Texas - here is a link

There is a short article in the period papers re: the incident. If you are interested let me know & I will attach.  As there was an investigation, you may be able to request those records from the Dallas Municipal Archives.  I do not know how long records are kept but perhaps they could advise.
