I am seeking my father’s ancestors, James Taylor born on December 7 or 9th, 1934 in Ormand Beach, Florida. I need the name of his parents or grandparents. I saw the names Samuel and Hattie Taylor on the 1940 census listed as his great grandparents? Is there any more information on Samuel Taylor and also Hattie Taylor’s parents.

Based on this census James (Jimmie A. less than 1 year old)) was either the son of Samuel A Taylor (b. ~ 1918) or Anna E. (Lizzie) Taylor (b. ~ 1919). In the 1920 and 1930 Censuses Samuel and Lizzie were the children of Samuel and Hattie Taylor. Based on ages and information in the 1920, 1930, & 1935 censuses, James was the grandson, not great-grandson of Samuel & Hattie.
