The original 1950 census sheets were destroyed (https://www.archives.gov/research/census/1950/faqs). Only the scans of the sheets exist today. Thus the sheets are historical documents, warts and all. The film obviously can't be corrected. There are some websites that allow you to **add** alternate information to a person's transcribed line. But usually for the name transcription only. FamilySearch had a volunteer project to check the information for an index called the 1950 U.S. Census community project, but that was completed a few years ago www.familysearch.org/.../1950
