You posted this and another query in the Census Records Forum. Have you tried to find them on the U.S. Census? Where specifically do you think they lived? An exact address... "near Savannah, GA" isn't specific. Where and when was George born? That would be helpful in any search. You ask for birth records for a George and Mary Parrish in 1920.... are these children of your Grandfather or are they your grandfather and his wife Mary? Have you found when and where they died or were buried? I tried an online search for George Parrish in 1900 in Georgia and didn't get a reliable hit.
