It would help if you had stated who you were looking for, his/her name, age in 1920, other members of the family, and if you had it, their address. I don't think you want to go through, image by image looking..... the population of Kansas City, KS in 1920 was 101,177 people. But if that's what you want.... see: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/489386?availability=Family%20History%20Library and page 6 has links to 1920 Wyandotte County. Registration needed, but it's free.
Thank you Joel for your hard work and help with my search. I am searching for my maternal grandmother, Maximinia Hernandez Bustamante. Her name appears on my mothers birth certificate, born 1926 in Kansas City, Kansas, Wyandotte County (with no hospital named, but certified).
I want to search 1920 archives because my mother was told her mother died when she was 2 years of age and her father Gavino (or Gabino) Bustamante remarried by 1930 and the new wife is listed in the 1930 archives Census. That census has the following information: Archives 1930 Fifteenth census, Ward of city 7, Block No. 8, Enumeration District 105-58, Supervisors District No. 6.
Let me know if this helps narrow down the search.
Kind regards,
Yvonne Sanchez
105-58 in 1930 according to our cross table at https://stevemorse.org/census/unified.html?year=1920, pick Kansas (state) and in the "If you know the 1930 ED..." pick the ED, has parts in 1920 in wyandotte-193, 194, and 203. The links will get you to the census sheets. There is a marriage index at https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1674845 registration required but its free.... but I don't see a listing there for Bustamante.
