I have the information from the 1850's and 1860's census ... is there a way to determine address from location, asst marshal or page number? I get to this census and have no further information to get to my 2x great grandfathers parents. Avery Wansor (b. 1830) is listed in both census. All Wansors stem from common anscestor back to the New Amsterdam time. Wanshear. All in Glen Cove NY.

It wasn't until the 1880 census that specific locations of residents was added to the U.S. census sheets. In addition, for 1850 and 1860 census the time to complete the census by Assistant Marshals was 5 months!! You are going to have to research the land records.
