Seeking access to New York 1910 census records

Question

A relative of mine was on the Titanic from Ireland and was heading to an address in New York. The address was 415 West 53rd Street in Manhattan. I believe or know it was Hell&#8217;s Kitchen. He did not survive the disaster and I would like to find out who was living at the address.

Ok, let's try it this way. Go to http://www.donslist.net/PGHLookups/cgi-bin/HandOff-1_0.cgi?NYC1910+NYC1910+0001SP .. Scroll down to New York, Manhattan Bronx I chose the year 1910. Click on that at top left scroll down to page 0976 and you will see McMahon. There is a second page with McMahon 0977 Hope this works. Lots of McMahon.

Dear Mr. O&#8217;Brien, &#160; Thank you for posting your request on History Hub! &#160; We used Google Maps and determined that 415 West 53rd Street in the Borough of Manhattan, New York City, New York is on a block bound by West 53rd Street to the south, West 54th Street to the north, 10th Avenue, to the west and 9th Avenue to the east. &#160; We entered this information into the Unified Census ED Finder using the guidance on New York Public Library&#8217;s Genealogy Tips: Searching the Census by Address and determined that during the 1910 Census, this city block constituted enumeration district 1337 . &#160; We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the Population Schedules for the 1910 Census in the Records of the Bureau of the Census (Record Group 29) that includes the listing for 415 West 53rd Street on sheets 4A through 4B for New York, New York City, Manhattan Ward 22, District 1337. This schedule has been microfilmed as National Archives Microfilm Publication T624, Reel 1046.
