I am seeking reports from the U.S. embassy in Oslo on Norwegian media in the 1950s.

Which archives could contain such information? Information about contacts with people in the media - editors or special journalist?

Any american information strategy towards the norwegian newspapers or television. Is there any special CIA reports on Norway - and in which archives do I find them. Where do I find information about American counterstrategy towards Soviet propaganda actions in Norway and Scandinavia.

    Embassy reporting on the public press in Norway are found in the central files of the Department of State.  Records on the U.S. public diplomacy program are found primarily in the files of the United States Information Agency.  For Central Intelligence Agency reports we suggest searching the CIA’s Freedom of Information Act webpage.
