I am looking for my records of the children's camp in Miami. I entered from Cuba in 1962. It was called Operation Peter Pan. Organized with the Catholic church.

Dear Mr. Romagosa,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located Records of the Unaccompanied Cuban Children's Refugee Program, 1961 - 1968; Name and Organization Files Related to the Cuban Refugee Program, 1962 - 1969; and Regional Subject Files, 1960 - 6/25/1970 in the Records of the Social and Rehabilitation Service (Record Group 363) that may include information about the camp in Miami. For more information about these non-digitized records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at Archives2reference@nara.gov.
You may experience a delay in receiving an initial acknowledgment as well as a substantive response to your reference request from RDT2. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience as we balance mission-critical work and the safety of our staff during the pandemic. Please check NARA’s web page about COVID-19 updates for the latest information.
The Barry University Archives and Special Collections has custody of the Monsignor Bryan O. Walsh Papers, to include records related to Operation Pedro Pan. Some images from their collection are available online at the Digital Library of the Caribbean. The collection also is described on the Florida Cultural Resources website.
Additionally, the Archives of the Archdiocese of Miami may have records concerning the involvement of the Roman Catholic Church in assisting Cuban refugees.
Finally, the Operation Pedro Pan Group, Inc. may be able to assist you.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
