Version 2

Your profile image and avatar are associated with your questions and answers. We have generic images, but if you'd prefer, you can upload your own. Here's how.

Step 1: Sign into History Hub.

Step 2: Click on the arrow next to your picture in the upper right corner of the page, then move down to "Edit Profile" or "Add Your Photo".

    Step 3: Click "Add Photo".

Step 4: Choose a file from your computer, then click "Upload & Continue". Images should be JPG, PNG, GIF, or BMP only, and the maximum file size is 10.0 MB.

Step 5: You can crop your photo by dragging the corners toward the center, or upload a different photo. Click "Crop Photo" to move to the next step.

Step 6: You can also update your avatar. Your avatar is the small round image that appears next to your questions and comments. Just click "Yes" to set your avatar.

Step 7: Crop your avatar, then click the "Finish" button.

Or, if you'd prefer, you can also select one of the avatars created from historical documents. Then just click the "Finished" button.
