Should the LC mark be transcribed on sheet music?

Question

On some of the sheet music to be transcribed, there's an "LC" mark (presumably a Library of Congress marking of some sort?) - but it doesn't look like it was printed or written, almost like it was hole-punched on? Should I transcribe this? Others either don't transcribe it at all, some transcribe it just as LC and others do [*LC*].

Hi there, 
 I'm not exactly picturing what you're referring to - there are various stamps used for copyright, etc. But go ahead and transcribe it where you see it! Since it was added after the music was published, put it inside brackets and asterisks. [*LC*] That being said, if you are reviewing transcriptions and come across a page where the stamp is the only text missing, you can accept it without further edits. If the stamp only contains "LC" or "Library of Congress" then it's not crucial enough information to warrant the transcription going through multiple rounds of edits.
