Pardon me for not knowing the correct terms, but:
In an annotated script of Candide, there are notes in the margin, such as "Travel" and "Music." I believe they belong under the column heading "MUSIC DIRECTIONS."
On the page I'm reviewing, the transcriber has entered them on the same line as the text across the way, but it seems more logical to me that they should come beforehand? I would have elected to put "Travel" above the line "French soldier". That way it's clear that "Travel" applies to that section. Thoughts?
