Can you help with this French letter?

I did the best I could with it. I will need someone with much better French skills to review and clean it up.

Henry, you did an AMAZING job.  The only thing I corrected were the accents aigu vs. grave.   :-)

Just for the record, the original letter is full of spelling mistakes, lots of phonetic spellings.   Volunteers did a great job.
