Join us to celebrate Herencia’s first anniversary!

We are celebrating the first anniversary of our crowdsourcing campaign, Herencia: Centuries of Spanish Legal Documents. As part of the celebration, we have coordinated all-virtual festivities beginning on Monday, March 15!

For starters, we are hosting the next Herencia Review Challenge! From March 15 to March 19, help us review pages that date from the 15^th to 19^th century. For this review challenge, our goal is to complete the review process on our Laws & Statutes: Crime and Law Enforcement collection. Follow us on Twitter for more updates on the challenge.

In addition, we invite you to our upcoming Lunch & Learn Webinar: A Conversation with the Herencia Crowdsourcing Interns on March 17 at 2:00pm EDT. Geraldine Dávila González will moderate a panel discussion in which our remote interns will share the discoveries they have made in this previously unexplored collection. This remarkable group of undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals, are the first to conduct research exclusively on this digital collection.
