How do I correct a transcription error?

I need to correct the corresponding line number and name. When I went back to make the correction, it added the correct name to the first transcription, which now shows 2 names for the line. I don't see a way to correct that. Is there a way?

Thank you for your question. If you make a mistake, you can add the name to the correct line. The erroneous name can remain, but the correct name added will help with searchability. As a moderator, I can remove the names for you. Can you please conform that I should delete the following because they are all a line off:

Line 12 - remove Abby G. Kastner

Line 13 - remove Robert W. Proctor

Line 14 - remove Marjorie J. Proctor

Line 15 - 22 remove all names
