I sat down to work on some transcribing today, and the system will not log me in. When I select log in, it returns back to the same (log in) page.I tried closing and starting over, but to no avail.

I still am unable today to log in. I do so enjoy transcribing, and really would like someone to please reply.
Hi GlennCarly,
You might need to clear your cache. If you could let me know what browser you're using, I'll post the instructions.
Sincerely,
Community Manager, National Archives Catalog
I cleared the cache yesterday, but it still doesn't work. I was using Google. After I received your email, it gave me the idea to try a different browser, so I switched to Edge. It successfully logged in. Do you have any notion as to why Google stopped working? Thanks for your reply.
Hi,
I'm glad you're back in the catalog at least. Here are the instructions for clearing the cache in Chrome. If this is different from what you've tried, see if it works. If it doesn't I'll report the issue to our developers.
After logging in via login.gov, if you are not logged into the Catalog, clearing the cache can help fix the issue:
Click on the icon to the left of the URL and select Cookies and site data
Open the link to Manage on-device site data
Click on the recycle button for catalog.archives.gov
I was unable to use Edge browser, able to log in, but nothing would work. I followed your instructions above back in Google. I logged in again, and nothing changed, it was still showing the login button, but I noticed that start transcribing had come on. What a strange set of events, but I was able to transcribe. Thank you.
I was unable to sign in for days recently before receiving instructions for clearing the cache. That worked, however, now I can only use Chrome. Any other browser does not work. I used to use Edge. And I have had to clear the cache once or twice more.
Hi,
Would you mind sending us a screenshot of the Login button still appearing and the Start Transcribing button also being on to catalog@nara.gov. I can send it to the developers to investigate.
Thank you,

Some how which will be forever unknown to me, when I attempted to log in, the very same thing happened. In the corner was the login button, but as I was looking down the screen, I noticed the start transcribing button was there! Before, it always said log in to transcribe. What a confusing few days. Thanks for your response.
