Too much detail?

I’ve been transcribing the USAF UFO forms in this file :

1956: Fitchburg, Massachusetts, August 15, 1956, 266-36

On page 10 I transcribed the images in detail, hoping that a reader would be able to imagine exactly what is shown. Did I go into too much detail? Should I have been less detailed?

Our transcription is for searchability, so only some very limited description in brackets is needed if it is critical to the record. We suggest you edit the transcription and leave in only the transcription of the text.
