Logging in

After being away from transcription for a few hours, I expect to have to re-log in if I didn’t log out.  What’s been happening is I sign in to login.gov.  I open my doc page in a new tab. I click “Start transcribing” but then it wants me to log in again, even though I just did that (my ad blockers etc are turned off for NARA).  My name is at the top, but when I click it I get the screen below.  Close out.  Re open, log in.No white transcription entry window. I get the same “Default “ page. It’s like a hall of mirrors.

It seems logging in to the .gov website doesn’t always communicate to the actual doc collections.  Here’s the screenshot:

How long does a log in remain without activity?  Do I have to clear my cache and cookies before it’ll work?  It’s frustrating to click among several tabs trying to figure out what went wrong, bc sometimes I get the You’re already logged in notice.  Thanks!
