Seeking information on my grandfather WW2

I'm getting close to finding out who my grandfather was.  I think he either served in 95th Engineer General Service Regiment or Company D of the 2nd Battalion of 1310th Engineer General Service Regiment.  He would have been based in the UK, in Shropshire in early 1944.  I have names of three brothers one of which could be my grandfather, is there anyway of finding a list of men who were in each regiment? Thank you

We have also received your question via email in the Archives 2 Textual Reference Branch and have responded to your request through email. While we have responded to your inquiry already, we did want to provide similar information here for your convenience.

We suggest that you begin your search by contacting the National Archives in St. Louis for your grandfather's OMPF, as this will let you know what unit(s) he served under in 1944.  Official Military Personnel Files (OMPFs) and individual medical reports for enlisted men of the U.S. Army who were separated from the service after October 1912 and prior to 1955 are in the custody of NARA's National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis. In many cases where personnel records were destroyed in the 1973 fire, proof of service can be provided from other records such as morning reports, payrolls, and military orders, and a certificate of military service will be issued. You may apply online for this file at http://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records/.
We recommend that you contact our St. Louis location about monthly rosters for Army units.  Copies of most of the monthly rosters from 1912-43 and 1947-59 for Army units (including Army Air Corps) are in the custody of the National Archives in St. Louis, MO. Please contact them for access to these records. The address is the National Archives in St. Louis, 1 Archives Drive, St. Louis, MO  63138-1002 and the email address is stl.archives@nara.gov. Rosters for units serving in World War II from 1944-46 were destroyed in accordance with Army disposition authorities.
Should you have issues with obtaining rosters due to your time period of interest, we suggest that you consult the units' morning reports.  While the morning reports won't give a list of soldiers within a unit, there may be mention of your person of interest if they had any status changes such as being sick or on leave.  Morning reports for Army units (from November 1, 1912 to 1959) are in the custody of the National Archives in St. Louis, MO. Please contact them for access to these records. The address is the National Archives in St. Louis, 1 Archives Drive, St. Louis, MO  63138-1002 and the email address is stl.archives@nara.gov.
