I’m looking for a man I never knew.

I started my DNA test and family tree journey in 2018. I found so much information about my mother's side. On my father's side, I really can't find that much information. So recently, I decided to do a geology test, hoping I could find out more. The only name I have is Robert Buddy Williams. I can't even find an obituary. He passed away before I was born. I want to know if he cared for my grandmother and why he left my father. I need answers. I can't change to pass, but I can change what I know about him. Can anyone help?

He joined the NAVY on 26 October 1943 and was released from active duty on 17 May 1946.  I can't even find an obituary. He passed away before I was born. I want to know if he cared for my grandmother and why he left my father. I need answers. I can't change to pass, but I can change what I know about him. Can anyone help?
